Kunos simulazioni has refined the BOP, changing each car’s performance around pretty much all tracks! Our team has been working up to this moment on the fastest GT3 cars to prepare a preview of how the new setups will be looking like!
WHICH CARS ARE INCLUDED IN THE RELEASE?
AUDI R8 LMS GT3 EVO II
Being one of the most performing cars in Assetto Corsa Competizione, it easily became one of the best picks in ACC V1.9.6: With one of the best engine and chassis configuration out of the GT3s lineup, it truly shines in Red Bull Ring.

BMW M4 GT3
There’s nothing as stable and easy to push as the M4 GT3, and this is clear also in Red Bull Ring! with its perfect electronics and perfect stability under brakes, there isn’t really a downside about this beast.

MCLAREN 720S GT3 EVO
Alongside the 296 and the Lamborghini, it takes a spot in the fastest cars podium; the 720s has always been ahead of its time, and with the 2022 Evolution it became even better: perfect engine boost at all revs, perfect stability in slow/mid/fast corners and stable braking make this car one of the best picks in the whole grid
It takes quite a long time to master it as it has a very peculiar platform which requires a specific driving style

LAMBORGHINI HURACAN GT3 EVO II
One of the best cars on ACC at the moment, it combines an extremely stable platform with a perfectly balanced v10 engine
Having a short wheelbase it’s not always extremely easy to drive it if you’re coming from another car

FERRARI 296 GT3
Being one of the latest releases from Kunos, the 296 proves to be competitive in all tracks: with a futuristic aerodynamic platform and very good top speeds it’s surely one of the best picks.
It also looks like the low boost map, which made the car less responsive in corner exits, is starting to get slowly fixed on many tracks!

PORSCHE 992 GT3 R
Not much to say about the 992, being the only rear engine car on the grid always puts it one step above everything else, it has incredible traction and cornering stability; everything mixed with the 9000rpm screaming engine which feels always perfect for any track.
Finally with v1.9.6 some driving issues were fixed by modifying the dampers physics!

ASTON MARTIN V8 VANTAGE GT3
Second best for stability and ease of use, it combines a powerful turbo v8 with incredible electronics making it the fastest car in mixed conditions.
Unfortunatley even in v1.9.6 it’s not looking like it has the power to be the fastest car in any of the ACC tracks when the track is in optimum conditions; could it be because of the Aston Martin Vantage V8 GT3 EVO being released in the near future?
