We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress/WooCommerce Developer to join our team. As the main WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress themes, fixing existing WordPress and WooCommerce issues, and optimizing our eCommerce platform. You will play a critical role in enhancing the performance, functionality, and user experience of our online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes, ensuring responsive design and performance optimization.
- Configure and customize WooCommerce functionalities, including product setup and payment integrations.
- Identify and resolve technical issues with WordPress and WooCommerce, optimizing for security and performance.
- Enhance the existing WordPress structure, improving site architecture and user experience.
- Plugin Development & Customization: Create and modify plugins to add specific business functionalities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a WordPress/WooCommerce Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing custom theme development and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Extensive knowledge of WordPress CMS, WooCommerce, and related technologies.
- Experience with responsive design and development, ensuring compatibility across various devices and browsers.
- Familiarity with debugging tools and version control systems like Git/Github
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and web performance optimization.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with Blazor, C# and ASP.NET
