ABOUT THE HYUNDAI ELANTRA N TC
AERODYNAMIC BALANCE
The Hyundai Elantra N TC has a neutral aerodynamic setup, with limited oversteer during cornering. Its overall stability allows for experimentation with stiff rear suspension settings, though it remains sluggish in tight corners.
BRAKING EFFICIENCY
While the Elantra is stable under braking, issues can arise, especially in high-pressure situations. Adjusting the brake balance towards the rear and using throttle input during turn-in helps mitigate front-wheel lock-up and stabilises the car.
PERFORMANCE IN VARIOUS CONDITIONS
The Elantra’s understeer necessitates early throttle application to aid rotation, making throttle management crucial for maintaining agility. This approach helps improve corner exit speed, particularly on circuits with sharp turns.
TOP SPEED & STRAIGHT-LINE PERFORMANCE
Though not its strongest suit, optimising front differential settings and ARB adjustments can help improve the Elantra’s sluggish corner entry without sacrificing straight-line stability.
TYRE MANAGEMENT
Soft suspension settings can make the car more forgiving over bumps and curbs, aiding in tyre longevity and grip maintenance, especially on bumpy tracks. Aggressive toe settings further enhance agility and overall performance.

1. Locate the Setup Folder: Navigate to the setup directory of the car you’re using.
Documents -> Assetto Corsa -> setups -> rss_gtm_mercer_v8 -> monza
