We’re thrilled to introduce the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 and Ford Mustang GT3 hybrid setups, tailored for drivers seeking peak performance in mixed conditions. These setups offer a unique blend of stability and speed, perfect for mastering challenging tracks in both wet and dry scenarios. The Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 provides superb cornering capabilities, while the Ford Mustang GT3’s raw power and braking precision make it a formidable choice on any circuit. Learn how these setups can transform your racing experience!

THE LAMBORGHINI HURACAN GT3 EVO2

AERODYNAMIC BALANCE

The Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 boasts a very positive front end, making it intuitive and easy for beginners to handle. although on lower downforce circuits, it can be tricky to maximise performance out of the car.

WET WEATHER & FUEL EFFICIENCY

The Huracan excels with low fuel consumption and performs exceptionally well in wet or mixed conditions. Its intuitive steering makes it easy for drivers to feel what the car is doing, enhancing the overall driving experience.

BRAKING EFFICIENCY

With great brakes, the Huracan offers strong stopping power. However, drivers need to be cautious as the car can easily lock the rear brakes in slow corners.

PERFORMANCE IN VARIOUS CONDITIONS

The Huracan GT3 EVO2 is very fast and consistent in wet conditions, making it a strong contender in races with variable weather. It performs well with race fuel and custom Balance of Performance (BOP) settings, but it struggles with tyre temperatures in warmer conditions and low-speed traction zones.

TOP SPEED & STRAIGHT-LINE PERFORMANCE

Despite its strengths, the Huracan has low straight-line speed, which can be a disadvantage on tracks with long straights. Its performance can be inconsistent on low downforce circuits, requiring skilled handling to maintain competitive lap times.

TYRE MANAGEMENT

Managing tyre temperatures is crucial, especially in warmer conditions where the Huracan can struggle. This is an area where drivers need to pay close attention to maintain optimal performance.

THE FORD MUSTANG GT3

AERODYNAMIC BALANCE

The Ford Mustang GT3 features a stable aero platform, making it a solid choice for high-speed tracks. It combines classic muscle car design with advanced aerodynamics, providing consistent downforce and stability, crucial for maintaining control and precision in tight corners.

WET WEATHER & FUEL EFFICIENCY

The Mustang’s strong fuel efficiency and balanced setup allow for effective performance in endurance races. It maintains good traction and stability in wet conditions, giving drivers confidence in variable weather scenarios.

BRAKING EFFICIENCY

Equipped with one of the best braking packages in ACC, the Mustang offers reliable and powerful stopping capabilities. This ensures drivers can push the car to its limits while maintaining control during heavy braking zones.

PERFORMANCE IN VARIOUS CONDITIONS

The Mustang GT3 excels on fast, flowing tracks where its power and stability shine. Its balanced handling helps in varying track conditions, making it a versatile choice for multiple race scenarios.

TOP SPEED & STRAIGHT-LINE PERFORMANCE

The Mustang’s powerful engine ensures top-notch straight-line performance. It excels on tracks with long straights, where its speed advantage can be fully utilized to gain time on opponents.

TYRE MANAGEMENT

Our custom setups optimise the Mustang’s tyre performance, ensuring better longevity and grip. This allows drivers to maintain a consistent pace over long stints, even in challenging track conditions.

WHY HYBRID SETUPS ARE ESSENTIAL

Endurance races often feature unpredictable weather, transitioning from dry to wet over several hours. To address this, organisers may increase the weather variability coefficient, leading to conditions that can change mid-race. With our new Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 and Ford Mustang GT3 Hybrid Setups, you have a configuration that works well in both dry conditions and medium rain, making it ideal for races with mixed weather.

KEY BENEFITS OF HYBRID SETUPS:

  • Adaptability: Ideal for races with variable weather, especially when there is a high chance of both dry and wet conditions.
  • Performance: These setups are optimised for 70% dry and 30% wet conditions, ensuring stable handling across different weather scenarios.
  • Consistency: Hybrid setups offer reliable performance in medium rain when there are many cars on the track, simulating near-dry conditions. For heavy rain or thunderstorms, switching to a MED WET setup is recommended.

WHEN TO USE HYBRID SETUPS

  • Mixed Weather Races: Perfect for endurance events where the weather forecast predicts a mix of dry and rainy conditions.
  • Medium Rain: Ideal when there are 25-30+ cars on track, creating a visible dry line, allowing the car to handle almost like it’s in light rain.
  • Avoid in Extreme Wet: Not suitable for heavy rain or thunderstorms; switch to a dedicated wet setup instead.

THE FIRST HYBRID SETUPS

We are proud to be the first to bring Hybrid Setups to the community. Our hybrid setups are designed to provide the perfect balance between dry and wet performance. With these setups, you can be confident that your car will handle well in various scenarios, giving you the edge you need on the track.

When in doubt between a full dry or wet setup, choose the Hybrid Setup to confidently handle most track scenarios.
