ACC V1.10.2 Update - Apline & Aston

The latest ACC V1.10.2 update brings significant bop changes to the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 and Alpine A110 GT4. Let’s dive into the specifics of these updates and how they impact your racing experience in Assetto Corsa Competizione.

ASTON MARTIN VANTAGE V8 GT4 UPDATE

AERODYNAMIC BALANCE

With its front-engine layout, the Vantage GT4 is one of the most balanced cars on the GT4 grid. Its rear-end stability makes it highly predictable, although drivers who prefer a car with more oversteer may find it slightly challenging.

POWER OUTPUT & TRACTION CONTROL

Equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, the Vantage GT4 boasts impressive top speed. Its traction control system is highly effective, but for optimal performance, driving with TC off can be faster.

BRAKING

The Vantage GT4 is incredibly stable under braking, thanks to its front-engine mount and 50/50 weight distribution. However, its tendency to understeer can make trail braking a bit challenging.

TOP SPEED

While most GT4 cars have similar top speeds, the Vantage GT4 stands out with its higher power output.

LAP TIMES AND OVERALL PERFORMANCE

Once considered an underdog, the Vantage GT4 received significant improvements in v1.9.8, aligning its speed with the rest of the field. However, it still isn’t the fastest on any particular track.

ALL TRACKS UPDATED (EXCEPT)

The Aston Martin Vantage V8 GT4 has been updated to ACC v1.10.2 on all tracks except the following tracks:

  • Nurburgring 24H
  • Red Bull Ring
  • Brands Hatch
  • Hungaroring
  • Valencia
  • Zolder

ALPINE A110 GT4 UPDATE

Apline A110 ACC V1.10.2 Update

AERODYNAMIC BALANCE

The Alpine excels in aerodynamic balance due to its lightweight construction. Despite having less downforce, its light weight allows it to perform exceptionally well, suiting various driving styles.

POWER OUTPUT & TRACTION CONTROL

Featuring a 1.8-liter in-line 4 engine with a single turbo, the Alpine A110 GT4 might seem less powerful on paper. However, its favorable BOP (Balance of Performance) from the Alpine esports series ensures competitive performance.

BRAKING

The Alpine’s mid-engine mount and lightweight design make it one of the best options for precision braking. Its balanced 50/50 weight distribution and ease of maneuvering allow for micro-adjustments during trail braking.

TOP SPEED

The Alpine, with its smaller engine, may struggle on longer straights but compensates with excellent acceleration and handling in tighter sections.

LAP TIMES AND OVERALL PERFORMANCE

Thanks to its favourable BOP, the Alpine A110 GT4 consistently ranks among the best GT4 cars. The data and insights from the Alpine esports series have helped optimise its performance.

ALL TRACKS UPDATED (EXCEPT)

The Alpine A110 GT4 has been updated to ACC v1.10.2 on all tracks except:

  • Nurburgring 24H
  • Red Bull Ring
  • Suzuka
  • Zandvoort
