Our team at GO Setups has been hard at work this week, bringing updates to more GT3 cars. We’ve enhanced setups for the Aston Martin V8 Vantage and implemented Kyalami updates for the McLaren 720S GT3 EVO. Now, let’s explore the intricate details of each car’s updates.
ASTON MARTIN V8 VANTAGE GT3
Kunos introduced a new aerodynamic balance and a comprehensive physics model overhaul for the Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT3. This revamp transforms yaw angle dynamics, enhancing corner sharpness and providing more precise braking. The updated model significantly reduces understeer from slow to high-speed corners, resulting in an average improvement of around 0.250 seconds across all tracks.
MCLAREN 720S EVO GT3
In ACC version 1.9.6, minimal alterations were made to the McLaren 720s EVO’s Balance of Performance (BOP). Our tests revealed a slight power nerf across all tracks, leading to an average tenth of a second loss in lap times. Notably, BOP changes at Kyalami included a weight adjustment, significantly improving lap times. As a result of this weight change, the McLaren now stands as the second-fastest car on data at Kyalami!
